Anna"Pageants go wrong when contestants take the competition too far. Girls get too competitive to the point where they would do anything to win the crown. I have seen many girls who would stop eating days before the competition, girls who spend thousands of dollars in buying dresses, make up, and hair accessories to impress the judges. Depending on the level of the competition girls submit themselves to various surgical procedures to achieve a "perfect" figure which get out of hand since they are putting their health at risk."

Cristal"Participating in the pageant world can be both positive and negative, for me pageants help you step out of your comfort zone. You get To meet new people. You make a lot of connections. However, as to every positive there's always a negative, pageants Requires A lot of time. It can be stressful. I have witnessed girls become attached to their body image that they go over the extremes to be perfect and make themselves beautiful. I have watched girls become obsessed to the idea of winning and being number one."
